This morning 1,900 December 20 ’24 17.5 calls traded in Sleep Number Corporation (Symbol: SNBR). The trader most likely bought the 23 delta calls looking at the initial trade of 1,660 contracts and then the subsequent bid posted for smaller trades afterward. At the time of the initial large trade SNBR was trading at $15.74. This was an opening trade since the open interest this morning in the SNBR 17.5 calls was less than 350 contracts this morning.

There are 17 days to the December 20th expiration and the trader may be speculating that SNBR will rise above the 17.5 strike in the short term. There was recently a large purchase by former Interim CEO and Chairman Patrick Hopf that may be singling a bullish outlook that the trader wants to build a position on.

SNBR is currently trading for $15.21 SNBR has a 52-week high of $20.75 and a 52-week low of $8.13
