Traders\u2019 Academy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial trading education designed for individual and professional investors.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we mentioned in our previous lesson, Traders\u2019 Academy<\/a> was primarily designed for those individual and professional investors seeking a better understanding of the financial markets, asset classes, and trading tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Traders\u2019 Academy, participants can become better acquainted with IBKR\u2019s platforms, along with tutorials on specific tools that can aid in classroom curricula, including PortfolioAnalyst and Investment Reporting<\/a>, Introduction to Charts<\/a>, and IBKR\u2019s Risk Navigator<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courses and lessons on Traders\u2019 Academy are comprised of easily accessible and digestible short videos that are accompanied by study notes and quizzes to help reinforce the learning experience. Each Traders\u2019 Academy course addresses a specific area, such as trading products, economics, fundamentals<\/a>, or IBKR tools<\/a> [See also our Advanced IBKR Tools<\/a> tutorials!].\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, you\u2019ll see the course skill level, along with a breakdown of each lesson \u2013 and looking at those, you\u2019ll find each is comprised of a short video, a set of study notes, as well as links to additional resources.  You can also ask us a question or test your knowledge by taking a quiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TWS for Beginners is a great resource for learning how to get started with our desktop Trader Workstation platform. Among a host of other instructional material, this course explains how to download the software to your desktop and login, how to configure the workspace and generally navigate the system, as well as shows you how to enter basic orders, create a watchlist, view charts, and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Platform Tutorials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the subject of IBKR\u2019s platforms, Traders\u2019 Academy also offers instructional lessons on how to use Client Portal<\/a> \u2013 where we illustrate how to view your account using a web-based login, get a summary of activity, browse market-related news, and make the occasional trade. We also have courses devoted to using our IBKR Mobile and GlobalTrader<\/a> platforms for both iOS<\/a> and Android<\/a> devices \u2013 which will help you get up and running, and trade on the go. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
