The recent figures signal stable labor conditions amidst a corporate community that is refraining from substantial layoffs. In the Interactive Brokers prediction market on Wednesday, there was 51% likelihood of a number north of 210k as well as a 47% chance of a figure at or below that threshold. When looking over and under, the 220k \u201cYes\u201d and the 200k \u201cNo\u201d were priced at $0.11 and $0.18, pointing to a 29% possibility of a meaningful swing in either direction. South Korea imports most of its crude oil needs from the Strait of Hormuz, which has become a significant risk due to recent hostilities.
